What do Justin Bieber and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino have in common? Both are pop culture phenomena for one thing. Both are chick magnets extraordinaire. And recently both shared a classroom in an instructional video.
What?
That’s right. According to the National Examiner, Justin Bieber and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino have joined forces to produce a commercial for Justin’s eagerly awaited 3D documentary movie, Never Say Never. Bizarre as their pairing may sound, the teen dream and the Jersey Shore ab-flasher have created an amusing, distinctive, and informative piece of advertising.
The promo begins with the Situation, clad in a getup reminiscent of a 1970′s porn star, introducing himself as Professor Situation, the instructor of a class he calls the real situation but which is more formally known as Pimping 101. Professor Situation then grabs a pointer and segues into a truly hilarious impersonation of Glenn Beck–sashaying to and fro while scribbling his lecture’s salient points (Justin Bieber’s movie, Valentine’s Day) on the blackboard. All of which adds up to one big “situation zone.” At that point, the professor is joined by none other than the Biebs himself who intones:
“And that, boys and girls, is the situation. I’m Justin Bieber.”
Well, after watching a promo like that, how could anyone fail to rush right out to see the movie? Never Say Never opens in theaters nationwide on February 11, 2011. But you can attend Professor Situation’s lecture, featuring his teaching assistant, Justin Bieber, on the video clip below.
